Renee Ross is the Founding Shareholder of Ross Family Law, a boutique family law firm serving the Bay Area for over a decade. With more than two decades devoted exclusively to family law, Renee is recognized as one of the Bay Area’s most accomplished practitioners and a respected leader in the field. She guides clients through every stage of complex family law cases—including pre-separation education and planning, high-asset property division, custody disputes, support, and post-judgment litigation.
A Certified Family Law Specialist, as designated by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers, Renee is counted among a select group of attorneys nationally recognized for deep expertise and integrity.
Renee is highly sought after as a speaker and presenter at state and national family law conferences and regularly leads continuing legal education seminars for her peers. She recently served as President of the Northern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (2024) and continues her service as the Immediate Past President (2025). Her recent speaking engagements include presentations and panels for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts’ national conference, where she delivered advanced-level instruction on complex custody and family law practice. In addition, Renee is a CEB Contributing Author and mentor for the next generation of family law professionals.
Her leadership is complemented by numerous accolades, including recognition as a “Super Lawyer” and repeated selection as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers and Top 100 Lawyers in Northern California. She is renowned for her professionalism, practical and strategic insights, and genuine dedication to her clients’ well-being.
