Bio

Stefanie Young is an Associate Attorney at Ross Family Law. She is in her fifth year of practicing law, focusing exclusively on family law.

With a strong background in psychology and mental health, Stefanie brings empathy, compassion, and collaboration to her work — helping clients navigate through difficult and often unexpected life transitions. She strives for excellence in her practice and is committed to continually deepening her knowledge to better guide her clients through the complexities of the legal system.

Stefanie’s work includes dissolution and legal separation, domestic violence restraining orders, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property division, and other family law matters.

Stefanie began her career at Open Door Legal (ODL); an award-winning nonprofit organization committed to providing universal access through civil legal services to underserved San Francisco communities. There, she built a strong foundation in Family Law for four and a half years and served as the Lead Family Law Attorney for one year before joining Ross Family Law. Stefanie has also represented clients in guardianship matters and cases involving Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).

Stefanie represents clients in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Marin, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Sonoma, Napa, San Joaquin, Solano, Santa Cruz, and Sacramento counties.
